Tasty Tarragon Salad Dressing

Tarragon has a sweet and aromatic flavor reminiscent of fennel, anise and licorice. This dressing is light and can be used on all kinds of salads, vegetables and seafood. Recipe from grouprecipes.com


•   1 cup olive oil

•   1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

•   2 tablespoons finely chopped tarragon

•   2 tablespoons honey

•   2 cloves garlic finely minced

•   1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (use grainy style - looks great)

•   2 tablespoon mayonnaise

•   1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

•   3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

•   1/2 teaspoon fresh ground cracked pepper


  1. Equipment needed: bowl, whisk & container with tight lid.
  2.  In bowl, place fresh chopped tarragon, minced garlic, honey,  mustard(s), mayonnaise, salt & pepper.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add vinegar and stir till well combined.
  5. Add oil slowly in a stream while still whisking to make an emulsion.
  6. Salad dressing is finished!
  7. To make a "lighter version", use half the oil and add water instead and mix it up in your blender.
