Kale with Lemon Tahini Dressing


Also try this dressing on roasted broccoli and other veggies!


  • 1 bunch kale – rib removed and chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1/4 C tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1/2 C lemon juice (about two lemons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons water (or more to thin as needed)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)


  1. Combine all ingredients, except kale in a bowl. Whisk together until blended. Adjust water depending on your desired thickness of the dressing.
  2. Add kale to a bowl, and massage dressing into kale. You can also lightly steam kale first.
  3. Top with sesame seeds if desired.
